Fidelity Goal Booster

If being a successful saver seems out of reach for you, Goal Booster may be just the tool to get you over that hurdle. Goal Booster can help you set goals designed for your family and your budget. Maybe it’s a down payment for a home, your child’s college fund, or just the assurance you have enough funds available in the event of an emergency. Whatever your goal, Goal Booster can help you conquer savings – and have some fun doing it.

The secret to saving? Start with a goal

Successfully setting aside money for a savings account can seem like a tall order for many households. Often, just getting started is the hardest part.

How it Works:

1. Determine what you’d like to start saving for.

Think short-term: something you’d like to make happen in the next few years. A good place to start is with an emergency or rainy-day fund if you don’t have one already.

2. Set your goal.

Use the Goal Booster tool on NetBenefits to help you determine your savings target and deadline.

3. Open your Goal Booster account.

The new account will be all yours and accessible through NetBenefits. The best part is you’ll receive reminders and encouragement from Fidelity along the way to help you reach your goal.

4. Start saving.

Set up automated recurring transfers from your bank account to fund the Goal Booster account.

5. Monitor your progress and celebrate your success.

Once signed up, you’ll have access to the Goal Booster Dashboard on NetBenefits to see your goals and all your progress in one place. You’ll receive alerts, motivation, and pep talks, but the most important part is to celebrate your success.
