Time Away From Work
Whether planned or unexpected, time away from work is a necessity. Below is an overview of K-C’s time off and leave of absence benefits.

K-C provides short-term and basic long-term disability coverage at no cost to you. Additional optional long-term disability coverage may be available for purchase during Annual Enrollment.
- Short-term disability benefits offer income protection if you’re sidelined and unable to work for up to 26 weeks.
- Long-term disability benefits provide you with continued income protection for illness or injury that extends beyond your short-term disability period.

Family and Medical Leave
Provides job-protected time off for qualifying events under the Federal (and state, where applicable) Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Click here to learn more about FMLA and the resources avalaible to you.
Employees at K-C corporate sites receive eight paid company holidays and four paid personal (floating) holidays per year. Production sites’ holiday calendars vary by location and are posted on @myHR.

K-C provides benefits including pay differential for periods of mandatory/elective training or if you’re called to active duty.
If you’re salaried and hired before December 1, you’re eligible for vacation in your first year (amount varies by hire date). In the first full year of employment, you receive two weeks of vacation. Additional weeks of vacation are earned based on years of employment at K-C.

Provides pay, based on state guidelines, for covered workplace injuries and illnesses. Contact your team leader, site nurse and/or HR representative to report a workplace injury or illness.
