Update Your Information

Change of Address

Don’t forget, K-C needs to know your current mailing address to get important benefits-related mailings to you, including medical ID cards.

To change your mailing address:

  1. Go to Workday from the K-C Intranet.
  2. Under Contact, update your address in the Home Contact Information section.


Communication Preference

Did you know? If you aren’t set-up to receive electronic communications, you could receive hundreds of pages of documents in the mail when K-C sends legally required documents.

If you haven’t opted in to receive electronic communications, you can help put K-C’s funds to better use by electing to receive most benefits communication electronically.

To change your election with Empyrean:

  1. Log in to K-C Benefit Compass.
  2. Go to Current Benefits and Profile.
  3. Under My Communications Profile, click Edit and enter your preferred email address.

To change your election with Fidelity:

  1. Log in to NetBenefits.
  2. Go to Accounts & Benefits on the main menu and select Update Your Profile.
  3. Under Communication, enter your email address and select which communication deliverables you’d like to receive by mail or email.

Note: Your communication preferences can be updated at any time.


Dependent Verification

When you add a new eligible dependent to your health & welfare benefits through Empyrean, dependent verfication is required. Documentation is due within 30 days from the day you complete your enrollment.

Documentation can be submitted to Empyrean three ways:

  1. Select the enrollment event from the homepage alert after you've completed your enrollment.
  2. Fax copies of your documentation to 866-227-6605.
  3. Mail copies of your documentation to:

      P.O. Box 2387
      Bellaire, TX 77402

Note: A spouse/partner surcharge is applied if your spouse/partner has access to employer-provided medical coverage and continues to be covered on a K-C Anthem medical plan option. Click here for more information.


Designate a Beneficiary

Your 401(k) and any IRA plans, life insurance policies, and Health Savings Account require you to designate beneficiaries. At least once a year, check to see that the beneficiaries on file for these plans are still current.

To view/update your beneficiaries for your 401(k):

  1. Log in to NetBenefits.
  2. Go to Accounts & Benefits on the main menu and select Update your Profile.
  3. Under Beneficiaries, you can view/edit the beneficiaries on file with Fidelity.

To view/update your beneficiaries for life insurance policies:

  1. Log in to K-C Benefit Compass.
  2. Go to Current Benefits & Profile.
  3. Under the Beneficiaries tab, you can view/edit the beneficiaries on file with Empyrean.

To view/update your beneficiaries for your Health Savings Account:

  1. Log in to NetBenefits.
  2. Go to Health Savings Account and select Update Beneficiaries.
