Help When the Road Gets Bumpy

It’s hard to navigate our personal journeys alone while we’re running at top speed to stay ahead of life or worrying about what’s coming around the next bend in the road. As everyday challenges start to stack up, life at work and at home can quickly become overwhelming.

K-C’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) can help, offering confidential assistance for a wide variety of everyday issues. Optum administers the program, and it’s offered free of charge to you and others in your household.

Who is Eligible?

Whether you participate in the K-C medical plan or not,
you and your eligible family members can use the EAP.

Help with Life's Stresses

If you’re coping with any of these common problems, an EAP specialist will quickly refer you to the right resource for short-term help—and can even help you coordinate extended care if needed.

  • Life changes
  • Parenting and family issues
  • Depression, anxiety, and stress
  • Substance abuse

In addition to phone support, once referred to an in-network EAP provider, the program covers six free, confidential visits per family member per issue.

Online Tools & Resources

There are helpful tools and resources available on the EAP website in the Tools & Programs section. These tools can help you with a wide variety of challenges that life throws your way, by helping you:

  • Assessments & Screeners
  • Self-Help Programs
  • Calculators

Once there, you can also use the EAP website to download the EAP app to your smartphone. This way you have help with you anytime you need it.
