Consumer Driven Health Plans (CDHPs) place greater responsibility for health care decision-making in the hands of consumers. CDHPs are intended to reduce health care spending by exposing consumers to the financial implications of their treatment decisions. K-C’s CDHP combines a Company-funded account (HRA or HSA) with a lower- contribution, higher-deductible plan. When you need care, you’ll pay most of the costs until you meet the deductible. The HRA or HSA will help cover your out-of-pocket expenses like deductibles and coinsurance.
